AUSTRALIAN DOUBLES OPEN - Saturday/Sunday
We'd like to congratulate Tracey Partridge and Brad Allen for finishing runners-up in the B/C Grade division at the recent Australian Doubles Open on the Gold Coast.
Tracey and Brad won four of their five matches played across the weekend, only losing to undefeated winners Kayden Canty and Joel Raj.
Additionally, congratulations to other players Joel Luca, Lachlan Coxsedge, Hayan Kim, Darcey Baptiste and James Boswell (apologies to anyone else we've missed) for taking part in the event. A big thanks to the club members that came along to watch.

Matches this Thursday
Carrara (1) - A road trip to take on Labrador (3) will be crucial. Victory will potentially see it move into second spot on the ladder especially if Carrara (2) take down
Southport (1). Victory also keeps Labrador from knocking Carrara (2) out of fourth place regardless of the result.
Carrara (2) - A home match against Southport (1) awaits Carrara. If it wants to play and make an impact in the finals, it must win or get close to it. Victory helps Carrara (1) move into second while getting closer to sealing fourth spot.
Carrara (3) - Carrara has the bye this week.
Carrara (4) - Carrara has the bye this week.
Carrara (6) - Carrara hosts second placed Nerang (11) this week in a game where it should be very competitive.

JUNIOR ACADEMY
The Carrara Squash Academy is a fun, play-based program designed to develop participant's hand-eye coordination, striking, and other sporting skills essential for Squash, life-long health, and well-being. Through fun games and drills, Ozsquash utilises the 'learning through play' philosophy to maximise participation in an inclusive and safe environment.
Weekly Training Schedule:
- Tuesday | 4pm - 5pm
- Sunday | 10am - 11am
Available Packages
- $10 per session
- $80 for 1 session per week for 1 term (10 sessions)
- $150 for 2 sessions per week for 1 term (20 sessions)
